ABOUT JACKIE

Jackie Gorman naturally bloomed into natural healthcare after solving her own challenges with chronic illness by working with inspiring practitioners, and in turn developing a curiosity of how she could help others.

Her story started in high school when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. The family turned to changing their diet, based on her mother's research of the problems with the standard American diet, and the importance of healing from cancer with food. The principles learned from cooking healthy foods, nutrition education, passions in food policy, and the essence of care-giving/ creating community permeated Jackie's education in college at Loyola University Chicago.

After graduating college, she went off to host and plan food festivals and private dinners on Martha's Vineyard (along with farming part time). It was a different education in food and set the foundation of a dream to go to Ballymaloe Cookery School in County Cork, Ireland. This beautiful 100 acre organic farm hosted a foundational localvore education spanning from soil to plate.
When she returned to Martha's Vineyard, her health started to decline, but in a much different way than her mother's. She was a fraction of the person she graduated college as - depressed, anxious, foggy, moody, skin irritations, and the list went on and on.

Luckily within a few months of "feeling off", she found brain integration. In the first appointment it felt like the lights had turned on in her brain. How powerful it felt to work with a practitioner that had answers, enthusiasm for my progress, and generosity of spirit. Jackie knew exactly how she wanted to share the gift of caregiving, and that was through the strong combination of nutrition coaching, specialized kinesiology and educating clients in their journey towards better health.

Now, Jackie works as practitioner, with a heavy focus on the Crossinology Brain Integration Protocol. As a graduate of Regis College with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2021,  Jackie brings the understanding of foundational conventional medicine concepts to allow realistic health coaching to take place.
Jackie is a member of the International Association of Specialized Kinesiologists (IASK) and American Holistic Nurses Association. She specializes in working with client's neurological stressors by using techniques in acupressure, applied kinesiology, and physiotherapy. The perspective of this niche type of care is surrounded around supporting someone's neurology, along with concentrating on what the person puts into or around their body (nutrition, media, screen time, toiletries, cleaning products and more). Jackie works with clients to help them find solutions towards creating an environment that is going to promote lifelong wellness.
